Delete your account & data

This page explains how to delete your Ching Ching account and request deletion of the personal data associated with it. Ching Ching is operated by We Run Thiss Group B.V. (Wijdehof 54, 3075 DT Rotterdam, the Netherlands).
How to request deletion
Delete your account from inside Ching Ching
- Open the Ching Ching app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account is deactivated immediately and your data is deleted as described below.
Request deletion by email
Email info@chingching.app from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm your identity before we proceed, to protect your account from unauthorised deletion.
What gets deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we delete the personal data tied to your account, including:
- Your profile - name, username, avatar photo, bio/about and creator details
- Your account and login data - email address and phone number
- Your content - streams, replays you own, chat and direct messages, comments, polls and community posts you created
- Photos and videos you uploaded
- Your coin balance, followers/following relationships and in-app preferences
What we keep, and why
Some information must be retained even after your account is deleted, to meet legal, tax, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations, or because other users interacted with it:

Timeline
We delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days of a verified request, except for the limited records above that we are required to retain. Residual copies in encrypted backups are removed on our normal backup rotation.
